The Course Outline Mapping and Management System (COMMS) is integrated into MyCanvas via your course Modules.
To add your Course Outline to your Modules, follow these steps:
- Select Modules from your course navigation bar
- Click/press the Add Module Item button within the appropriate Module (eg. Course Information or Getting Started)
- Select the External Tool from the Add Item menu
- Scroll down the list of items and click/press on COMMS Course Outline, then click on the Add Item button
- A link to your Course Outline will populate with the current year and term
Important
Course Outlines must correspond to the current term of the course. If you encounter a blank screen, it indicates that a course outline for the current term is either not yet available or has not been approved by your Associate Dean.
