Announcements are a great way to communicate with your students on a semi-regular basis. A few use cases for announcements are:
- Send an Introduction announcement introducing yourself and the course
- Reminders about upcoming assessments or assignments. Tip: Prepare these announcements ahead of time and using the start date for future release so you do not miss one!
- Share timely updates or resources with students throughout the term (this is particularly relevant when current events align with the course)
- It can be helpful to be consistent in your use of Announcement (every Sunday night for example). This all depends on your instructional style.
