Adding Teams Meetings in the Global Calendar

Adding Teams meetings to the MyCanvas Calendar will display in the Coming Up Events on the Dashboard and in students' Calendars.

How to add Teams meetings in the Calendar

Ensure you have the course selected in the Calendars on the right.SelectCalendar.jpg

In your MyCanvas Calendar, click the Create New Event + button to Edit the event  AddNewEvent.jpg

  1. Title – Enter Course Name or Code, which displays in students Calendars and Coming up
  2. Date – Set the date and time of Meeting
  3. Location – Choose meeting Location
  4. Calendar – Select the course
  5. Frequency – From the drop down menu, choose Custom and set recurrence end date

  6. Click on More Options, select Microsoft Teams Meetings

  7.  Sign into Teams and Create the meeting link.  Add the title and date, and click CreateTeamslink.jpg
  8. Once the Meeting is created, click Copy to add the link to the page.
  9. Scroll to the bottom and click Save.
